Amada is a new tapas and wine bar on the south side of downtown Chattanooga. "Amada" is a female name of Spanish origin meaning beloved/loveable woman. The restaurant was founded by local Chattanoogan, Amanda Trotter, and her mother, Gayla Trotter. Amada serves traditional Spanish plates that honor the seasonal, local ingredients of the area while celebrating southern simplicity and hospitality.

After assisting in the concept and opening of Pizza Bros Chattanooga, Amanda Trotter “realized I liked restaurants and wanted to create my own concept”
She didn’t know at the time what that concept would be but soon realized that once Terra Nostra, one of her favorite places to dine, closed, Chattanooga was missing a place that served tapas.

Filling a Niche
old earth tones of plum, gold, and emerald create an immediate sense of intimacy upon entering Amada Tapas. Under ambient lighting, a stunning mural of a woman is likely to catch your eye as you make your way through the restaurant.
