"Amada" is a female name of Spanish origin meaning beloved/loveable woman. The restaurant was founded by local Chattanoogan, Amanda Trotter, and her mother, Gayla Trotter. Amada serves traditional Spanish plates while at the same time creating an experience that equally prioritizes high-quality cuisine, a distinct culture, and an inviting atmosphere.
